Driver flees after 140km/h police chase

A HIGH-speed pursuit shook up residents of Pyree and Orient Point yesterday morning, when police chased a driver from Greenwell Point Road down Pyree Lane and on to Orient Point.

According to Shoalhaven Local Area Command, the cars reached speeds of 140km/h at about 10.45am.

Although the driver escaped, the police have identified him and will take further action.
