8/09/2008 10:32:00 AM
A SANCTUARY Point woman was killed on Thursday evening in a collision on the Princes Highway near Lake Tabourie.

Kylie Hollyoak, 32, died when the Toyota sedan she was driving collided head-on with a pantec truck at Lemon Tree Creek.

Ms Hollyoak’s car was travelling north on the highway at the time of the collision, which occurred about 5.10pm.

She was dead by the time emergency personnel arrived at the scene, however the 62-year-old man who was driving the truck sustained only minor injuries.

He was taken to Milton Hospital for treatment.

The Princes Highway was closed in both directions while emergency personnel responded to the incident, and was reopened about midnight.

Investigations into the accident are continuing as police prepare a report for the coroner, and anyone with information about the collision is urged to contact Nowra Police on 4421 9699, or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
