Cricket executive re-elected

MONDAY evening’s annual meeting of the Shoalhaven District Cricket Association saw members of the executive re-elected unopposed.

There were some minor changes to the committees, with those appointed being -

President: David Sloane;

Vice-president: Alan Muggleton;

Secretary: Phill Newlyn;

Treasurer: Mark Kemsley;

Recorder: Alan Clark;

Delegate to junior committee: Tim Bricklebank;

Association selectors: John Blackmore, George Dickie and Alan Muggleton;

Judiciary panel: David Hogg (chairman), Tim Bricklebank, David Hedger, Les Ison, Phill Newlyn, Graeme Sawkins;

Grading committee: John Blackmore, Alan Clark, Les Ison, Graeme Sawkins, Ted Street.

Delegates to Southern Zone Cricket: David Sloane, Tony Ingold, Alan Clark;

Zone judiciary representative: David Sloane;

Zone selector: John Blackmore.

The meeting was told that some sponsorship had been made available for a Twenty20 competition to be held in 2008-09, as an addition to the regular program.

Possible changes to competition rules will be discussed at the next meeting of delegates set down for Monday, August 4 at Shoalhaven Ex-Servicemen’s Club, starting at 7.30pm.
