NSW trials in ’Gong

16/05/2008 11:09:00 AM
THE second round of the NSW Moto Trials Championship is to be fought out this Sunday at the Mt Kembla MVRG, near Wollongong.

Round one of the NSW Championship had plenty of action and with round two this Sunday there is set for even more with the forest surroundings that will make for a tough challenge for the competitors.

The Mt Kembla MVRG will host some fantastic action, as Moto Trials is a test of both rider and motorcycle where they battle it out in natural terrain over a series of sections that contain water courses, logs and rocks.

The rider with the lowest score will win the round in their respective classes.

One competitor who will be fired up will be round one winner in the Expert Class, Kyle Middleton, the youngster managed to take victory ahead of his older rivals, Kevin and Colin Zarzcynski who are both current and former Australian Champions.

Will Middleton be able to take out back-to-back wins?

Only time will tell!

Classes that will be battling it out for round two will be Expert, A Grade, B Grade, C Grade, Clubman, Post Classic (Twin Shock), veteran ‘Grey Beards’ (40 years and over), and Sidecars

Apart from round two of the NSW Championship there will also be women’s and juniors (under 16 years) classes to take place.

The venue for the second round of the NSW Championship will be held at the Mt Kembla MVRG which is on Harry Graham Drive, Mt. Kembla.

Sunday’s competition will kick off at 10am, and admission for spectators is free.
