Volleyball Spikes - Eilish and Ana back from Nationals

3/09/2008 11:19:00 AM
EILISH Henry and Ana Del Castillo returned from the under 16 All Schools.

Volleyball Nationals held in Adelaide with a fourth placing.

They both had an enjoyable carnival playing for NSW and were unlucky not to end up with a bronze medal, which they lost to Victoria in a close three sets to one result.

Queensland was the dominant team taking out the gold medal from South Australia in the week long tournament held last week.

Bye round – A reminder to teams in A, B and C grade that each team will receive a bye every five weeks.

If any teams know in advance of any commitments then they may elect to have their bye during that week.

Duty teams – All teams that have duty should ensure they carry out their allocated duty otherwise a bond system will have to be reintroduced.

Also teams playing first and last should help with assembling and dismantling the equipment.
