ROUND 16 of the VB South Coast Group 7 Rugby League will be highlighted by a huge clash at the Berry Showground tomorrow.
The Magpies are desperately clinging to equal fifth sport on the ladder with reigning premiers Albion Park-Oak Flats, but are sixth on for and against.
And in 2008 percentages will be used to decide placings if required, there will be no exhausting play-offs like the Magpies went through last year.
Their season could be defined tomorrow when they come up against leaders Shellharbour City in what will be an absorbing battle.
The Sharks lead the competition on 23, followed by Shoalhaven Jets 22, Milton-Ulladulla 20, Warilla-Lake South 20, Albion Park-Oak Flats 17 and Berry-Shoalhaven Heads 17.
Then comes Kiama 14, Gerringong 9 and Batemans Bay 8.
The Magpies have a tough run into the finals, they are also home to Milton before having the bye in the final round, while the Park is away to Batemans Bay this week; home to Warilla; and away to Gerringong.
Meaning this weekend is a vital clash for Trent Burns and his Magpies, kick off the Berry Showground is 2.45pm.
