ILLAROO’S fourth grade side completed a great season taking out the competition championship and premiership double.

The Roos, who claimed the competition championship well clear of Wreck Bay had to do it the hard way though after losing the major semi to Wrecky, before overcoming Heads in last week’s final.

Illaroo took the grand final 2-1.

It led 1-nil at half-time thanks to a Chris Marks goal.

Wreck Bay equalised midway through the second half when Leroy Gray scored, but the Roos responding shortly after when Damian Sanita scored the matchwinner.
