Airport talk is pie in the sky

22/08/2008 12:36:00 PM
THE article published on August 13 regarding Nowra as an option for Sydney’s second airport made one wonder who next would be putting their hand up.

In the past half century the following locations have had positive mention; Goulburn, Dural (a favourite of G. Whitlam, and a Liberal electorate of course), Coona- barabran, Bankstown, Richmond, Newcastle and what about Badgery’s Creek. In 50 years we’ve seen no progress at all. What odds would one get on the same for the next 50?

G. Smith,

Berry.
