 Cost-benefit is the question

Cost-benefit is the question

1/09/2008 10:04:00 AM
I HAVE just read a letter published in this paper which has been written by the owner of a business establishment in Huskisson. He is telling us to beware of the policies of the Shoalhaven Action Campaign.

The business establishment is in the main street of Huskisson and, as part of its contribution to the streetscape of this beautiful village, are three skips, big rubbish bins.

The Shoalhaven Action Campaign is happy to promote development and for that development to be profitable as long as it is sympathetic to or enhances the natural beauty and wonderful lifestyle we have in the Shoalhaven.

Fortunately we get to choose between a council that is pro development at any cost or one that will work to improve the area we live in a way that is sustainable economically, socially and environmentally.

J. Holschier,

Sanctuary Point.
