E. CROWLEY (SCR Letters, August 20), Greg Watson has had nine years at the helm and as you acknowledge, the Shoalhaven has one of the highest unemployment levels in NSW (sic). Have you considered that prospective developers may want a fresh mayor?

I am proud to be both partner (female) of John Fergusson, and a supporter of the Shoalhaven Action Campaign. I’m not aware of any other members “degrading and abusing others”. Pointing out short-comings and failures to follow proper process is neither degrading or abusive - it may well just be the truth.
