AS Planning Minister when are you going to sign off on the North Nowra Link Road (NNLR)? I have written to our local member and colleague of yours Mr Matt Brown about the lack of access for residents of North Nowra to the Princes Highway other than Illaroo Road. I await his reply.

As I mentioned to him in my letter, this project (NNLR) has been going on since the 1960s and each time it has been discussed it has been held up by frogs, fauna, whatever you like, thus the NNLR has not happened. If this is the criteria placed on this road, as with any roads in NSW we would not have a single road in NSW.

Does one have to fork out a couple of thousand dollars and attend a Labor Party dinner to get your views on this matter?

Please would you get off your backside and sign off on the NNLR and let’s move ahead and thus do something real for the community of North Nowra without this unbalanced criteria attached.
